2025 Sutton Family Ministry Scholarship Golf Tournament

The tournament will take place on March 25, 2025, at the PGA of America Golf Club-Omni Resort in Frisco, TX, and there will be a dinner on March 24, 2025. 

Registration Packages

Purple Individual: $1,350/person; includes hotel room per person, dinner, 18 holes of golf, amazing prizes, and more. 

Silver Individual: $2,600/person; includes hotel room per person for two nights, two dinners & lunch, 18 holes of golf, amazing prizes, and more.

Nelson created the Sutton Family Ministry Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise awareness of the University’s Church Ministry Degree Scholarship fund.

Area pastors, church staff, non-profit leaders, and Nelson alumni compete for top golf prizes, a year of bragging rights, and learn all about Nelson students who major in Church Ministry degree programs and the University's charge to inspire more young men and women to answer the call to church ministry.

The tournament is named in honor of the Sutton family, who has committed $100,000 annually to Nelson students via the Church Ministry Degree Scholarship fund.

This year, Nelson University's goal is to raise $80,000 in scholarship money.
